EACH TO THEIR OWN: A family deal with the recent loss. Caroline, the mother, wants the family to move on and is suppressing her grief, while her daughter Jenya looks for a way out of the day to day drugery of suburbia and joins a charismatic church group .  The family are forced to confront their grief and accept that sometimes there is no-where to go – they’re stuck in this together.

MOUSE : A man and woman search the Westcoast bush for a wasps nest the size of a fridge. He is a tracker of signals, but can’t seem to read that they have both long since fallen out of love. She buckets out a stagnant pond trying to keep the over-fertile natural world at bay. But when she comes across a dying mouse on the floor of the house it feels like mortality itself is taunting her. Faced with the small animals suffering both the man and the woman are paralysed by pity.
